Starr's Day Home
Located in the Garden Meadows area of Wetaskiwin, Starr has 6 years of experience as a Day Home with the Evolution Agency. Starr is certified as an Early Learning and Child Care Worker. She has two school aged children of her own, a husband and a very friendly dog! Starr loves to be outdoors with her day home children; taking walks to the neighborhood park or enjoying the sandbox, water table, play structure and numerous ride on toys in her backyard every chance she gets. Starr is also a regular attendee of the Wetaskiwin C.H.I.P.’s program, our fantastic library and The Justice Cafe. When they aren’t out and about taking in what our community has to offer the children enjoy playing with play dough, sensory activities and doing craft projects on a regular basis. Starr’s home and programming offers a great chance for your children to learn and grow socially, emotionally and most definitely physically.
Sherry's Day Home
Hello My name is Sherry
I live just 10 km North of the City of Wetaskiwin on two acres of land; giving the children in my care plenty of room to explore the world around them and develop strong gross motor skills.
I have been happily married for over 30 years sharing 4 amazing boys and a growing list of grand babies bringing joy to our lives.
I am currently certified as an Early Learning and Childcare Worker with over 33 years of experience in the child care field. Children are my passion and my motto of “Helping children become the best they can be” has become a mantra in our home. I look forward to experiencing a partnership with your family and celebrating your children and their accomplishments as their caregiver.
Candace's Day Home
My name is Candace
I live within the city of wetaskiwin, I have my Child Development Supervisor (level 3) Certification from Grant MacEwan University. After Many years of working within accredited Daycare settings I felt it was time to go into business for myself.
I love my job. Being able to provide a safe, calm place for children where they are respected and encouraged to explore and be themselves brings joy and deeper meaning to my life.
I love being able to contribute to my community in a positive and productive way and running a service out of my home is a wonderful way to do just that.
Judith's Day Home
Located on acreage just 3 km North of Wetaskiwin, Judith is able to provide plenty of room for exploration and oodles of fresh air. Judith and her husband share three school-aged children, a friendly outdoor dog-named Angel and cat named Twinkle.
Judith has a passion for helping children discover their potential in an enriching environment with a focus on creative play, crafts and a nurturing environment.
Her goal is to work alongside families to create an environment that sets our future generations up for success and a bright tomorrow for both them and our society.
Shannon E's Day Home

Shannon’s Dayhome is located in the Centennial area of Wetaskiwin. Shannon loves being home with her spirited, fun loving toddler and school aged sport enthusiastic step son whom she proudly shares with her husband Dennis. Shannon’s space is bright, fun and enriching much like her personality.

Kristina’s Day Home
Located in the Centennial area of Wetaskiwin, Kristina has a fantastic and imaginative outdoor space for children to enjoy. Kristina is a farm girl at heart, and provides her day home children with amazing home cooked meals; the ingredients coming fresh from her family’s huge garden. Kristina has put many hours into planning her space to be engaging to the children in her care; there are numerous sensory activities to delight the children in her home.
With ongoing education and a certification as an Early Learning and childcare assistant Kristina is a caring and competent day home provider.
Maleah's Day Home
Maleah is a fantastic day home provider with experience in a group care setting and after school programming within our community. Maleah has a young daughter and is thrilled to stay home and provide her and your child with opportunities to socialize, explore and mature in a safe and stimulating environment. Maleah has a warm and welcoming personality that you and your child will feel valued and celebrated by. The day home space has opportunities for children of all ages to engage and be challenged on a daily basis.
Karren’s Day Home
Karren lives in the Northmount area of Wetaskiwin near the hospital. Karren has a beautiful childcare space to share with your family. Certified as an Early Learning and Child Care Worker (level 2) Karren’s physical environment offers ample opportunities for free play and imagination.

Stacey’s Day Home
I originally started up my Dayhome to be home for my young family with full intentions of moving on when my kids started school, well more than a decade later, I still love my job! I ended up really enjoying providing care for children, and I loved building strong relationships with the families I have in care. I could not see myself doing any other career. During this time I have completed my Level 2 Early Learning and Child Care certification and I continue educating myself through courses, seminars and workshops.
My husband and I have 2 fantastic teenagers, 2 cats and 1 dog; all of which were raised in my dayhome. I strive to offer care in a safe loving home environment, providing a rich play based learning environment for the children in my care.
Shayla’s Day Home
Located in Wetaskiwin Shayla is close to many playgrounds including; Parkdale School and Queen E. Elementary. Shayla has a bright and energetic home to share with your family and is eager to provide quality childcare. Shayla practices a gentle parenting style, she believes in the value of learning through play, following the child’s lead to discover and explore using gentle provocations to expand their learning experiences. Shayla uses physical movement such as yoga for understanding emotions with children helping them successfully develop self regulation skills.
Susan’s Day Home
Hello my name is Susan
My dayhome is located near Clear Vista elementary school within the City of Wetaskiwin. During my 20+ years of running a Family Day Home I have completed many Early Learning and Child Care courses having been certified as a Child Development Supervisor since 2011. I have a friendly dog named Sirus. A rescue cat named Keeper and an aquatic frog named Ernie. My promise is to maintain a space for each child to feel loved, cared for, respected, listened to, nurtured and safe. Daily I will encourage and challenge the children by setting achievable goals for them to conquer. We enjoy taking walks in nature as well spending time in the backyard which is carefully planned to challenge the children’s physical growth and agility. Indoors there is so much to do; puzzles, blocks, dress up, playdough, colouring and sensory bins. There will be NO bored children in my Dayhome!
